Mahmoud Abbas met last week with one of the world’s most notorious murderers & terrorists. The monster I am referring to is none other than Samir Kuntar, who in one afternoon:
- killed a father as his 4 year old daughter begged him to spare her father’s life
- beat and bludgeoned the head of that same 4 year old against a rock until her skull cracked and she died
- caused the death of the 4 year olds baby sister, who was accidently smothered by the shocked mother, as she attempted to keep the baby quiet in her hiding place.
In a matter of minutes, without doubt or hesitation, Samir Kuntar erased the Haran family from this world, robbing Ms. Haran of her beloved husband and babies in the most unspeakable way. It was the murderer, rather than the victim that Mahmoud Abbas, the “Moderate Peacemaker” chose to spend an afternoon with.
I have to wonder what they discussed under the hot Lebanese sun. Did Abbas congratulate Samir yet again, as he had congratulated the family when the monster was released? Did they discuss the countless killed in the war that was caused by Hezbollah in order to free Kuntar? Was the name Haran uttered?
What was going through the head of Abu Mazen as he stretched out his hand to embrace Samir Kuntar? Did he grasp the hand of Kuntar the same way he did Ehud Olmerts? Ehud Barak? Yitzhak Rabin? George Bush?
Was he cognizant of the fact that he was now grasping the hand that crushed the skull of a 4 year old? Was he thinking about the next time he would stretch out his hand to an Israeli? Did Abbas recognize the irony of the whole episode? Does he recognize the irony absurdity of his existence!?

Unlike Abbas, Kuntar has never mixed words on the issue of peace. He applauded the killing of Sadat – claiming it was a great day and a great victory. He has repeatedly stated his fierce opposition to peace or even negotiations with Israel. Kuntar, views the pursuit of peace as an act of sedition, an act against G*d & country, an act of “collaboration” with a sworn enemy.
It is no secret in the Arab world that peacemakers are seen as collaborators, and that collaborators are seen as the lowest of the low. The torture and killing of collaborators in Arab societies is widespread and well-known. “Justice” for collaborators is swift and brutal; their grisly murderers are part punishment, part warning to those flirting with the idea. Suspected individuals are offed by morbidly creative sadists before being “displayed” in town centers for all to see. The remains of a collaborator are unlike other murder victims – bruised & punctured bodies; broken, toothless and fingerless; with their dismembered genitals forced down their own throats.
How is it that a genuine “hardliner” would meet with a “moderate Peacemaker”? Does Kuntar not see Abbas as the collaborator of collaborators? After all, it has been reported worldwide that Abbas has been in “negotiations” with Israel for years. It is no secret that he is the beneficiary of the “Great Satans”, receiving millions from Israel & the USA. We’ve seen him shake hands with several Israeli administrations, there are even pictures of him hugging the hook-nosed vermin!
In every respect, Abbas should be the anti-thesis of Kuntar, the Christ to Kuntar’s Satan.
…Then again:
The killer and the supposed peacemaker did meet… the hand that has shaken the hand of Bush, Olmert, Barak now grasps the hand of a child killer.
Not his first time mind you:
Not his second, or third or fourth…
Sunday: talking infidels and the Caliphate over grape punch and Shawarma with Samir Kuntar;
Tuesday: talking peace & roadmaps over Kabobs at Ehud Olmert’s House…
Wednesday: approving weapons budget for the Al Aqsa Martyr’s Brigade suicide wing…
Thursday: condeming the latest suicide attack in the “strongest possible terms”
At the end of it Condaleeza scolded,
…Olmert suggested a 5 minute ‘time out’
Fear not Abbas… They will forgive, they will surely forget – and tomorrow – or even today – the bulk of world media will go back to calling you the peacemaker, the moderate, the hope.
Regular readers will know that I am no fan of Mahmoud Abbas. He is the worst type of enemy, a coniving fox that shakes Israel’s hand as he plots her demise. Although Hamas & Hezbollah are brutal, immoral bastions of death and destruction, they do not mix their words, nor do they pervert their message or intentions with sugary language or feigned ‘peace negotiations’. Abu Mazen, the “great moderate”, “the peaceful voice of Arabia” is nothing more than Arafat reincarnate – minus the kaffiya & fatigues. This is Arafat version 2.0, he’s clean shaven, wears western suits and looks the part of a weathered old diplomat. He looks like us, and talks like us, making it harder to accept the fact that his manicured hands play a part in the dirty business of homicidal terrorism.
